There is a good chance that money came from Russia:
A just-published report by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics’ award-winning OpenSecrets.org reveals the Judicial Crisis Network, a conservative secretive dark money group received $22 million from anonymous donors in the year leading up to the Tump administration and conservatives’ push to place Brett Kavanaugh on the U.S. Supreme Court.$17 million of that $22 million came from one anonymous donor.
In other words, the Obama administration could have exposed the criminal acts before Trump became president. Because money is more important than duty:
Anti-money laundering specialists at Deutsche Bank recommended in 2016 and 2017 that multiple transactions involving legal entities controlled by Donald J. Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, be reported to a federal financial-crimes watchdog.
The transactions, some of which involved Mr. Trump’s now-defunct foundation, set off alerts in a computer system designed to detect illicit activity, according to five current and former bank employees. Compliance staff members who then reviewed the transactions prepared so-called suspicious activity reports that they believed should be sent to a unit of the Treasury Department that polices financial crimes.
But executives at Deutsche Bank, which has lent billions of dollars to the Trump and Kushner companies, rejected their employees’ advice. The reports were never filed with the government.

We need more Republicans speaking out against what Trump is doing to his their own constituents. They haven’t spoken out more forcefully in the past because they are afraid of his voters. What these cowards don’t realize is that the occupant in the White House is destroying the GOP. His ‘policies’ will lead to a recession which will cost Republicans control of the Senate and lose them the presidential race in 2020:
Senate Republicans expressed growing concern Tuesday that President Trump’s escalating trade war with China is hurting their constituents in rural America, ratcheting up tension between the White House and Congress on a signature issue.
Some Republican lawmakers, increasingly frustrated with Trump, took the unusual step of openly criticizing a president from their own party.
“I’m not sure if you talk to him face to face, he hears everything you say,” said Senate Finance Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa), who has emerged as one of Trump’s chief critics on trade and who said he planned to write to the president to explain farmers’ concerns.
A desperate Trump will do anything to save his skin. Including diverting attention by starting another major war in the middle east, either by design or miscalculation. Unfortunately, the press never seems to understand that Trump is a master at wagging-the-dog. Whenever the press coverage turns to his crimes the liar-in-chief does something outrageous to change the subject. For years now he’s been race-baiting as favorite tactic, especially as it relates to the border. He also does it to motivate his ‘base.’ That isn’t working so much anymore. He needs a new distraction. Why not a war with Iran? We can’t put it past Trump. Anybody for a new ‘Gulf of Tonkin’?
President Trump denied a report from the New York Times that his top national security aides discussed a plan to send up to 120,000 troops to the Middle East in case of a fallout with Iran, adding that if they were planning to, “we’d send a hell of a lot more troops than that.”
…Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have been warning of an unspecified “escalating threat” from Iran in recent weeks, after receiving intelligence from Israel about a possible Iranian plot to attack U.S. interests in the region. Trump told reporters Monday that he’d been “hearing little stories about Iran,” adding: “If they do anything, they will suffer greatly.”
Biden is proof the Democrats have become what used to be considered Republicans:
CNN’s K-File reported on a YouTube video of the remarks at the Rotary Club in Columbia, South Carolina.
“Folks, I voted for a fence,” the then-senator from Delaware can be heard saying, referencing his backing of the Secure Fence Act. “I voted, unlike most Democrats ― and some of you won’t like it ― I voted for 700 miles of fence. But, let me tell you, we can build a fence 40 stories high ― unless you change the dynamic in Mexico and ― and you will not like this, and ― punish American employers who knowingly violate the law when, in fact, they hire illegals. Unless you do those two things, all the rest is window dressing.”
Former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton ― both of whom were senators at the time ― also supported the bill.
This could be a historic decision. Holding gun dealers responsible for the mass slaughter of Americans:
A divided Connecticut Supreme Court ruled Thursday that gun manufacturer Remington can be sued for alleged wrongful marketing of its Bushmaster AR-15 rifle, which was used in the mass murder of children and teachers at Newtown’s Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. . .
A lower court judge previously threw out a wrongful death lawsuit against the company, saying it violated a 2005 federal law called the Protection of Lawful Commerce Act. Justices reversed that ruling in a 4-3 decision, with the majority agreeing that under Connecticut’s advertising laws, firearm companies may be held liable, The Associated Press reported.
Remington is being sued by the relatives of nine victims who were murdered in the massacre, and by one survivor. On Dec. 14, 2012, 20 children and six educators were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Pelosi’s decision was not based on the constitution but pure political opportunism. She wants Democrats to be able to run against a president Trump in 2020:
Nancy Pelosi’s reasons for delaying its consideration are based on an ahistorical reading of the Constitution and its intent.
Now we need to get other states to go along. Such a law would encourage other Republicans to challenge Trump during the primaries:
Washington’s state Senate passed a bill this week that would drop President Trump from the state’s 2020 presidential ballot until he releases his tax returns.
The bill, which advanced Tuesday to the state’s House of Representatives, according to CBS News, would require any candidate on the ballot for president in the state to release five years of tax returns before appearing in a general or primary election.
The myth (based on a internet urban legend) is doing terrible harm. We have to spread the word of what is the truth:
The measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine isn’t associated with an increased risk of autism, even among kids who are at high risk because they have a sibling with the disorder, a Danish study suggests.
Concerns about a potential link between the MMR vaccine and autism have persisted for two decades, since a controversial and ultimately retracted 1998 paper claimed there was a direct connection. Even though subsequent studies haven’t tied inoculation to autism, fear about the risk has weighed on parents so much in several communities across Europe and the U.S. that vaccination rates have been too low to prevent a spate of measles outbreaks.
